I guess that I should be used to saying phrases like social distancing and stay at home! They seem to be the watch words of the day! All you can hear about, at least on the news programmes, is what we are doing to slow the spread of the covid-19 virus, and probably rightly so. I even learned a new word last night – caremongering. I also discovered that it means being kind to one another, from the young lady that lives across the street!
If it weren’t for covid-19, I would, like most of you, be at our club meeting, Free on Friday, and writing about our guest speaker, who was to be Mike Akpata today, talking about the Technology Scam. Oh well, I suppose it could be worse, and I’m told that it will! So, how are you? I hope you all got the message that all activities and meetings of our club have been cancelled until further notice. I hope too that everybody is somewhere safe, preferably at home. So, at home, with not much to do, I thought about what’s really important for us, the stay at home crowd. Here is what I came up with:
